New Support

We had a scheduled deputation meeting on Sunday morning, July 19th in Pilgrims Knob, VA. It was at a church way out in the boonies. The church was full of very friendly people, and they made us feel very welcome. Rodney presented our ministry and preached the morning service. The pastor told us that they would vote on supporting us on Wednesday night!!

We were able to drive to Kingston, TN in between church services. We did not have a scheduled meeting; so, we picked a church at random. The Lord always sends us where we need to go. We dropped in at a church that looked just like our home church on the inside. The colors were the same; the pews & pulpit furniture were the same. We felt like we were at home. There were about 400 people in attendance that night. The pastor had preached a funeral earlier in the day; so, he decided to let Rodney preach the service. After the service, while we were shaking hands, a man told Rodney that his Sunday School class was going to take us on for support. AMEN!! Two more supporting churches in one day will get us closer to our goal. We still need about 8 more churches to be at full support. God has been so good to us!
