Happy Birthday Katie...

Today is Katie's 12th birthday. It doesn't seem like she has been around for 12 years. Time goes by much too fast. Katie has grown into a precious young lady. Traveling on deputation has given us the opportunity to watch her take younger children under her wing. There have been so many mission conferences in which Katie will have a young girl or boy who wants to spend every minute with her. She graciously lets him or her sit with her at every meal, and she plays with him or her at each opportunity. I've seen toddler age children crawl over her, and Katie never says a word. She just smiles and takes care of them. What a precious gift the Lord gave us when he gave us Katie.
