Our First 2008 Christmas Parties

We have a Christmas get together at Faye's brother's house a few days before Christmas because he and his wife celebrate Christmas in Kentucky with Meghan's family. This year we had lasagna, salad and garlic bread. It was great. After lunch, we let the kids open their gifts. Josie asked for a Nerf double barrell shotgun...go figure. Katie had no special requests. She received a hot pink & white Aeropostale hoodie sweater. After all the gifts were opened, Jim & Meghan ran around with the kids playing hide-n-seek and duck, duck goose. They're both just a couple of grown up kids themselves. The girls love going to their house.

After spending the afternoon with Faye's family, we spent the evening with Rodney's extended family on his mother's side. There was a house full of people, lots of food, and white elephant gifts. This is a picture of Katie & Josie with their great grandmother "Nanny" Hutchinson.
