We didn't have a scheduled meeting for Sunday morning so we just picked a church to drop in. The pastor gave Rodney 20 minutes in the service. He gave his testimony and presented our ministry. The pastor took us to a Japanese steakhouse for lunch. We had a nice time of fellowship. Around 10:30 that night, the pastor called to let us know that the church voted to take us on for monthly support.
Our Sunday night meeting was in Athens, TN. Rodney presented our ministry and preached. After the service, the pastor said that he would bring us before the church and that it looked favorable.
Two churches in one day...AMEN!
After church, we had to drive from Athens, TN to Boone, NC to meet our home church's youth group for a ski trip. We drove about four hours. We arrived in Boone around 11:30 pm.
