We are in a mission's conference in Douglasville, GA through Sunday morning. It is at a church we had previously dropped in last year. The pastor called and invited us to their conference. In addition to the evening services, we are having a morning service Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday night, we are having an international dinner. Each Sunday school class is responsible for cooking food from the countries represented at the conference...Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, and America.
On Friday, the kids are going to an indoor inflatable jumpy place. Rodney is going with the men of the church to get a new suit, and I am going with the ladies to get a new dress. The folks at this church love missions. The kids in the church love missionaries too. They come to all of the display tables and have many, many questions. It is so much fun.
Rodney is presenting our ministry on Thursday night, and he is preaching Friday morning. He will be teaching an adult Sunday school class and children's church on Sunday morning. It is going to be a busy weekend!
