A Few Days At Home

After our eight weeks on the road up north, we were able to come home for a few weeks. We were all so ready to see some family & friends. I can only imagine how this eight weeks was just a little taste of how its going to be once we leave for the mission field. We are going to miss everyone so much.

While at home, Rodney was asked to preach at our home church. It is always a blessing to preach at home. We love our church family. They are so supportive of our ministry. What an encouragement they are when we come home.

We got home just in time for Katie to attend the annual junior lock in at our church. She had a blast being with all of her friends. When we picked her up at 7 AM, she went home and slept until about one o'clock. Oh, to be young again. I don't think I could stay up all night if I tried!

Josie had a friend, Delaina, come over and spend the night with her. They played babies and polly pockets all night. The next day, I took them all swimming at Grandmama's house.

While home, I had to order our school materials for this upcoming year. Josie will be in 2nd grade and Katie will be in 6th grade. I can't believe I have a daughter old enough for middle school. Man, I am getting old!
