Back on the Deputation Trail

On January 3rd we left home for a 5 week deputation trip. Our first meeting was in Salisbury, NC. We were part of a mission's conference through Tuesday night. A woman, Melody, was saved on Sunday morning...Praise the Lord! The main speaker was David Maynard. We had never heard him preach before. He messages were excellent. Each night, the alter was full. Many people rededicated their lives to the Lord.

During this conference, we stayed in the home of a veteran missionary couple. They made us feel very welcome in their home. They definitely had the gift of hospitality. Two mornings we were there, they cooked us a huge breakfast. It was so good. The church fed us lunch and supper each day. One lunch for the ladies was a "tea". The dear church ladies made all of us missionary ladies feel very special.
