Sunday, January 11th, Morning Service

Sunday morning we had a meeting in Old Fort, NC. The church was out in the country on a dead end road. It was a little country church filled with people. The church is adding on a new sanctuary. They also have just recently bought 10 acres down the road from the church. On this 10 acres, they have plans to start a boarding school. They have a burden to help troubled kids and the kids of prisoners. The pastor was involved in the prison ministry before he began pastoring the church. The prisoners had asked him many times if he knew of a place that their kids could stay while they were incarcerated. This led to the idea of a boarding school. The 10 acres is surrounded by a bird sanctuary. The land is beautifully situated on top of a mountain. The view is gorgeous. Please pray for this church as it tries to get this school built.

Rodney taught the men's Sunday School class. This pastor said it was important to him to see if a missionary could teach the word of God. Katie sang before the pastor preached, and Rodney presented our ministry after the preaching. After Rodney presented our ministry, the pastor returned to the pulpit and asked the church to take us on for monthly support. AMEN!
