Tonight we had a meeting in Monroe, NC. Rodney gave his testimony and presented our ministry. The pastor preached on the qualifications of a bishop. It was a very good message, one that needs to be revisited every now and then.
After the service, the ladies of the church gave us a huge rubbermaid container of miscellaneous items. We are very thankful for the generousity of the church, but our car is packed to the gills. When you are going to be living out of your car for 5 weeks, you have to pack more than normal, not to mention all of the school stuff we have to travel with. We stuffed the container into the car, and we had to rearrange once we got to the hotel.
