Mocksville, NC

On Sunday morning, we dropped in at a church in Lexington, NC. The pastor acknowledged our presence but did not give Rodney any time in the service. We did, however, go to lunch with the pastor and his wife. We enjoyed getting to know them, but the pastor made it clear that the church is not able to take on new missionaries right now.

On Sunday night, we had a scheduled meeting in Mocksville, NC. The pastor was a sweet older man. He gave Rodney the full service. Rodney preached his heart out, but there were only 12 people in attendance (counting us)! Rodney's message really touched the pastor's heart. Even though we probably won't see support, it is nice to know that we were able to be an encouragement to the pastor and his wife.
