Field Trip

After working so hard for the past few days, Katie & Josie were excited to have a field trip day. We decided to visit the Virginia Air and Space Museum and Fort Monroe.

At the Air & Space Museum, we watched an IMAX 3-D movie on the ocean, and saw many exhibits. Katie & Josie's favorite exhibits were the flight simulators. My favorite was the 3-D movie. Don't they look cute in their 3-D glasses!





At Fort Monroe, we visited the Casemate Museum. Jefferson Davis was held prisoner here after the Civil War ended. This is supposedly the room he was housed in. There were many interesting artifacts displayed in the museum. The museum was also surrounded by a mote. It was pretty cool.
