Hampton, VA Day 4

At 8 AM Sunday morning we attended the bus breakfast. We had homemade Belgium waffles and sausage. The bus workers cook breakfast at the church every Sunday morning before going out on the bus route.

Being the product of the bus ministry myself, I am encouraged to see churches still going out and picking up the children whose parents don't go to church. These children have to be reached too. You never know who you are going to pick up. Look at me...a missionary on my way to Venezuela!

Each of us road a bus route that morning. The girls and I road a bus that picked up 21 children. One of the little girls that we picked up sat with Katie. After the last child was picked up, I gave my testimony about being a bus kid. I encouraged the children to continue coming to church and told them that God had a special purpose for their life just like He did for mine.

Rodney taught the teen boys Sunday School class, and I spoke in two different classes-9-10 yr old girls and 6-8 yr old girls.

After the Sunday morning service, the pastor, with tears in his eyes, asked the church to take us on for support. Praise the Lord!
