On Friday, Katie & Josie had school all morning. We took a break at lunch time and went into town. We drove across the James River Bridge. It is the longest bridge we have ever crossed. It is 4 1/2 miles long. After looking around town, we ate lunch at Denny's, Josie's favorite restaurant. After lunch, we went back to the prophet's chamber and had more school.
While at home, we allow the girls to see their grandparents as much as possible. Because we were home for a few weeks in October and November, the girls got behind in school. We have to make up the days we missed; so, we do extra work on the road.
Before the evening service, our supper was delivered by the Mendoza family. Mrs. Mendoza is battling cancer, but her family is in good spirits and continues to serve the Lord. They brought us enough spaghetti for three meals. The homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs were out of this world. They also brought us salad, a loaf of fresh bread, and a homemade apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Boy was it good!
During Friday night's service, Rodney showed our slides, and the BIMI director preached again.
