Fire Alarm

On our way to the next meeting in Stuarts Draft, VA, we spent the night in Charlottesville, VA. What a night. At about 3:30 in the morning, the fire alarm woke us up. We thought the alarm clock had been set, so Rodney was trying to cut the alarm clock off. We finally figured out that the fire alarm was ringing. We looked out in the hall and saw people leaving their rooms. We got dressed and went to the lobby. The fire department showed up, and we had to wait in the lobby until the all clear.

A water pipe burst; so, there was no water pressure. When the water pressure drops, the fire alarm goes off. We were up for over half an hour, and there was no water in the morning for showers. Thankfully, we had all showered the night before!

For our trouble, we got the room for half price. The picture is of Rodney standing in the lobby that night!
